Prerna Singh Bindra is a freelance environmentalist, wildlife journalist and travel writer. She writes for various publications including Tehelka, The Pioneer and Sanctuary Asia, where she has documented the on-going crisis of Indian wildlife. In a career spanning ten years, she has written well over a thousand articles on nature and wildlife; she also edits Tigerlink, a journal concerned with tiger conservation. She has won the Carl Zeiss award and the Sanctuary Asia award for in-depth and consistent coverage of conservation issues.
