Story of Noble Rot

While Malika’s young son Momin is wasting his life away at a carpet factory, the imperious Mrs. Masood has a problem of her own. She’s been getting into her husband’s wine stash, with alarming results. Her factory-owning husband is not amused, but then the marriage has hardle been a source of joy for many years.

When Malika makes an unexpected discovery connecting Mrs. Masood’s weakness with her son’s stultifying employment, she hatches an unlikely plot, involving blackmail, supernatural creatures, and wine. Unknown to both women, the moment marks the beginning of a relationship that is to change their lives for ever.
